Shannnon Anderson aka “Sunshine the Clown“ has been professionally clowning in the Texas hill country and is the owner of the Old Thyme Fun Shop in Fredericksburg Texas for the past 15 years. Her performance art is enjoyed by children of all ages from 8 to 93. She has been performing as a magician since the age of 7 and is well versed in the art of close -up walk around table magic and has a wonderful magic show she has performed for birthday parties, libraries, schools and festivals.  Sunshine also has a degree in Herbology from the Clayton College of Herbology and uses her magic to teach kids the magic found in nature.  She has also done theatrical make-up for the past 15 years and studied  some of the masters of make-up like Mama Clown,  Jinny , make-up artiste and the Wolfe Brothers.  Her awesome face painting is a hit at any venue.  Birthday parties, family reunions, store promotions and festivals are her specialty.  Sunshine belongs to the Texas Clown Association and is a member of the Red Nose Response.

In 2006 she  traveled to Russia with Patch Adams of the  Gesundheit Institute providing much needed love and magic to orphanages, hospitals and nursing homes and has written articles about her experiences.  She stays involved with Marias Children, an art rehabilitation program for orphaned children.  Mission trips to other parts of the world are part of her passion for clowning.  Patch Adams has been an amazing inspiration in her art and of sharing the benefits of laughter and humor in life.
